Items Not to Pack
Before your possessions are packed and loaded into the GO MINI® portable storage container, it is important that you understand which items cannot be packed or stored because they represent a safety hazard or are perishable. Listed below are some common non-allowable items that you need to be aware of.
Hazardous Materials
Items that are combustible, flammable, corrosive or explosive. Examples include:
- Aerosols
- Alcohols
- Ammonia
- Ammunition
- Antifreeze Compounds
- Car Batteries
- Charcoal
- Charcoal Lighter
- Chemistry Sets
- Cleaning Solvents
- Combustibles such as spot cleaners, office machine liquid cleaners, etc
- Darkroom Chemicals
- Disinfectants
- Fertilizer
- Fire Extinguisher
- Fireworks
- Gasoline
- Household Batteries
- Lamp Oils
- Liquid Bleach
- Matches
- Motor Oil
- Nail Polish
- Nail Polish Remover
- Paint Thinner
- Paints (latex & oil-based)
- Pesticides
- Poisons (such as weed killer)
- Pool Chemicals
- Propane/Propane Tanks
Perishables
Food, plants or living things that may die or spoil in transit. Examples include:
- Frozen Food Produce
- Open or half-used foods or food without adequate preservation
- Plants
- Refrigerated Food
Items of Personal Importance/Sentimental Value
We suggest that irreplaceable items and\or sentimental items be carried with you instead of being packed in your GO MINI®. This suggestion is especially important if you choose to temporarily store the GO MINI® either on-site or at our warehouse facility. Note: These items are loaded at your own risk. Examples include:

- Certificates of Deposit

Heat Sensitive Items
We suggest that heat sensitive items not be packed in your GO MINI®, particularly during the hot summer months. This suggestion is especially important if you choose to temporarily store the GO MINI® either on-site or at our warehouse facility unless environmentally controlled storage is locally available and your choose to use it. Note: These items are loaded at your own risk. Examples include:

- Compact Disks
- Computer Diskettes
- Decorative Candles
- Record Albums
